Members Goals

The AUPE Calgary Area Council is made up of dedicated union volunteers who are committed to bringing members together and building a stronger sense of community across the Calgary region. Through collaboration, leadership, and member involvement, the Council organizes and supports a variety of events and activities throughout the year that encourage participation, strengthen solidarity, and create opportunities for members to connect with one another.

The Council’s primary goal is to foster an environment where AUPE members feel welcomed, valued, and engaged. By creating spaces where members can come together outside of the workplace, the Calgary Area Council helps strengthen relationships, promote a sense of belonging, and celebrate the diversity and contributions of members throughout the region.

Calgary Area Council is committed to:

-Building strong connections among AUPE members through social and networking opportunities
-Encouraging member participation and involvement in Area Council activities
-Supporting opportunities for members to share experiences, build relationships, and strengthen their connection to the union
-Providing a forum where members can exchange ideas, discuss issues of common interest, and work together to support one another

Through these efforts, the Calgary Area Council helps strengthen the bonds between members and contributes to a vibrant and connected union community. By encouraging participation, fostering inclusivity, and creating opportunities for members to come together, the Council plays an important role in ensuring that AUPE members across the Calgary region remain united, engaged, and empowered.
